Idle Hours

I wish for you the Quiet

of a cabin, deep in the woods,

With snow piled high

on the cedars and pines,

Far away from all the shoulds and coulds

of a much too busy mind.

I wish for you the Warmth

of a fireplace glowing bright,

With flames and embers burning

bringing you deep insight,

To a place of Inner Knowing

where peace and love reside.

I wish for you the Company

of wise angels by your side,

A delightful array of helpers

with whom you laugh and cry.

Living fully in every moment,

 as only you can do,

Until this life is over,

and you’re an angel too.
